Date:
15 Jan 2025
Kāinga Ora has developed an Officer’s Due Diligence Handbook as an induction style document for any of their officers who are new coming into this role. It is intended to support their attendance at the IoD / GHSL Officer Development programme.
This easy to follow handbook is a great example of support that can be provided to officers who need to understand their role, duties and activities to be taken under s44 of the HSWA 2015. This helpful resource also provides some example questions and conversation prompts for officers to have with their workers and aligns with the Business Leaders Health and Safety Forum document.

Taha Wairua, Taha Tinana, Taha Hinengaro and Taha Whānau all need to be nurtured and supported for kaimahi to thrive. They recognise their kaimahi must thrive to be able to help whānau thrive.
