The Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA) requires PCBUs to identify and eliminate risks to mental health as far as reasonably practicable as part of their duty of care. H&S Reps have a number of roles to play in supporting and promoting mentally healthy work linked to their functions and powers under HSWA.
